She holds a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Greek Philology and a Master\u2019s Degree in Educational Sciences. Her doctoral thesis was conducted at the School of Philosophy and Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and concerned the teacher\u2019s interpersonal behaviour in the classroom. In the context of her postdoctoral research she investigated issues related to emotional intelligence, self-efficacy and job satisfaction of preschool teachers. Efi has published several research papers in international, peer reviewed journals. She is the author of the book \u201cPunishments and discipline in education: A timeless pedagogical issue\u201d. She has participated in academic and professional national and international conferences. Efi has worked in a number of schools in Greece. She has conducted training seminars for kindergarten teachers and has participated in research projects. Her research interests span a wide range of subjects, including the interpersonal teacher-child relationship, peer relationships, teachers\u2019 interpersonal behaviour, managing children\u2019s behaviours, emotional intelligence and teacher self-efficacy.
