Dr Eleni Zisopoulou is a Laboratory teaching staff at IHU. She has more than 20 years of experience as an early year’s teacher and 5 years as a preschool advisor. In her role as a preschool advisor, she developed a clear understanding of preschool teachers’ needs for professional development.
At the Department of Early Childhood Education and Care of the International Hellenic University (IHU), she teaches the following courses:
- Special Issues of Infancy
- Τheory and Methodology of Infancy Activities
Outdoor education and risk play
- Important transitions in the treatment of the child
- Research Assignment Seminars (RAS) Applications of Infant Care
Her research interests concern pedagogic issues, education and care in infancy, organization of preschool environment, transition processes, organization of space and educational process, outdoor education, play and the cultivation of creativity in preschool education.
