The Erasmus Programme is the flagship educational programme of the European Union, promoting cross-border mobility for students within Europe.

The Erasmus+ mobility programme is an EU initiative that offers students the opportunity to:

• Study abroad for part of their studies, for a duration of 3 to 12 months,

• Complete their internship in a European Union country,

• Receive a scholarship,

• Have their studies abroad recognized,

• Discover a new country and culture, and make new friends.

The Department of Early Childhood Education and Care at the International Hellenic University (IHU), Thessaloniki, is committed to promoting mobility in Higher Education and ensuring full academic recognition of studies and qualifications. The department participates in the following ERASMUS activities:

• Student mobility for studies

• Student mobility for internships

• European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS)

• Diploma Supplement (DS)

• Teaching staff mobility for teaching purposes

• Administrative and academic staff mobility for training

Language Preparation for Incoming & Outgoing Students (EILC)
Student mobility and exposure to other cultures not only enrich the student experience but also prepare students for a job market that values flexibility and adaptability, thereby strengthening Europe’s workforce.
