Foundation of the Department

The Department of Early Childhood Care and Education belongs to the School of Health and Medical Care of Alexander TEI of Thessaloniki.

The Department began its operation in the fall semester of the academic year 1985-1986. Nearly 100 students are annually registrated to the Department, through the national exams. This number increases by students’ transfers, admission of university graduates based on qualifying exams and expatriates.
